Our Crowdfunder, 382k Reasons, closes on Tuesday 27 October. After that, the page shuts and that's it. So this is me asking, straight, one more time.
I'm Jerelle, Jefe to most people. I run Jefes Ramen out of Stockport. Every bowl we sell is Buy 1 Give 1: it funds a matching meal for someone experiencing homelessness. I've been hungry with nowhere to go. I don't say that for sympathy. I say it because it's the reason any of this exists.
The deadline: Tuesday 27 October
The Crowdfunder closes on 27 October 2026. The target is £8,000.
That money takes this from a few pub nights into something that keeps going: kit that travels, a kitchen that can turn up in a new city and do it properly, and more nights where every bowl sold funds another meal.
The name is the reason. There are hundreds of thousands of people without a home in this country. 382k reasons to do something. We're doing it one bowl at a time.

What I will say: every single pound on there came from someone who decided this mattered. Some of them I know. Plenty I don't. All of them, thank you.
Three ways to help: back, book, volunteer
1. Back it. Go to 382k Reasons on Crowdfunder and put in what you can. A fiver counts. Sharing it counts too.
2. Book it. Come and eat. Friday 30 October, Swan With Two Necks, 36 Princes Street, Stockport SK1 1RY, from 6:30pm. Presale closes on Friday 23 October, so don't sit on it. Book your Stockport bowl on Eventbrite. More on the Stockport page.
3. Graft it. Want to be in the kitchen or on the floor? Sign up to volunteer. We need chefs, floor and prep.
And if you run a pub, there's a fourth: host a night.
